Manila, April 12 -- Most parts of the country will experience generally fair weather with isolated rain showers on Sunday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour public weather forecast, PAGASA said Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms, especially in low-lying and mountainous areas.

PAGASA said the ridge of a high-pressure area (HPA) extending over Northern Luzon continues to bring generally stable weather conditions across much of the country.
