Manila, April 9 -- The country will experience generally fair weather with isolated rains on Thursday, a regular holiday for the commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor).
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ridge of a high-pressure area extending over Northern and Central Luzon will affect weather conditions nationwide.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned of possible severe thunderstorms that could trigger flash floods or landslides, particularly in areas prone to such hazards.
