MANILA, July 29 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said the European Union's (EU) maritime security assistance worth 15 million Euros or around PHP1.05 billion will greatly enhance the country's maritime domain awareness (MDA) capabilities.

MDA refers to the capability to collect and analyze data to understand all activities and possible security threats at sea.
