Manila, June 22 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Monday cited the rapid adoption of the eGovPH app among Filipinos, with more than 800 million transactions and 56 million downloads recorded since its launch.

According to DICT Undersecretary for E-Government David Almirol Jr., the app's usage surged sevenfold over the past year and has exceeded initial projections.

"The platform is now recording an average of 100,000 daily downloads and has already processed more than 800 million transactions since its launch, surpassing the DICT's original target of 30 million users by 2028," Almirol said.
