Manila, June 16 -- Several areas in the Visayas and Mindanao will continue to experience rains caused by the easterlies affecting the eastern section of these islands, the weather bureau said Tuesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast across Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.

The rest of the country will also experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms, it added.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will prevail throughout the archipelago.
