Manila, Aug. 20 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) - Zamboanga Peninsula has begun providing psychological first aid (PFA) to students of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) Junior High School following the shooting incident involving a minor on Aug. 18.

Eight students, aged 11 to 14, received PFA from DSWD mental health professionals on Aug. 19, as part of the department's immediate psychosocial intervention for those affected by the tragic incident.
