DSWD-11 turns over P600K livelihood projects in Davao Region
Manila, Sept. 17 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Davao Region (DSWD-11) reported Thursday that PHP600,000 worth of livelihood projects under the Payapa at Masaganang Pamayanan (PAMANA) program were successfully turned over in Talaingod, Davao del Norte, and Laak, Davao de Oro, providing sustainable opportunities for Friends Rescued (FRs) and members of the Indigenous Cultural Communities/Indigenous Peoples (ICC/IPs).
The agency said that on Sept. 15, the Tatag IP Farmers PAMANA Livelihood Association in Barangay Palma Gil, Talaingod, received PHP300,000 in seed capital for a motor spare parts supply and vulcanizing service center business.
