Manila, April 7 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Davao Region (DSWD-11) will begin the regional payout of Cash Relief Assistance (CRA) for qualified tricycle drivers on Wednesday, an official said Tuesday.

In an online press briefing, DSWD-11 Director Rhuelo Aradanas said the agency is targeting 30,000 tricycle drivers across the region, with a budget allocation of PHP150 million.

Each beneficiary will get PHP5,000 in cash aid to help cope with rising fuel prices.

For the initial rollout, 14,670 tricycle drivers are set to benefit from the program, with the distribution per city as follows: Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) - 1,791; Panabo City - 3,443; Tagum City - 2,788; Davao City - 437; Digos City - 4,355; ...
