Manila, Nov. 4 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is looking to start the C5 rehabilitation project later this month, DPWH Secretary Giovanni Lopez said Tuesday.

"Based on our meetings with the DPWH-NCR (National Capital Region), the rehabilitation of C5 - which we have previously discussed - is set to begin in the last week of November. Following the approach used by Secretary Vince (Dizon) for the EDSA rehabilitation, we are on track to commence the C5 rehabilitation by the last week of November," Lopez said in an interview during the inspection of the newly reopened Pasig Boulevard-C5 Flyover in Bagong Ilog, Pasig City Tuesday.
