Manila, Aug. 5 -- The Department of Transportation (DOTr), Department of Education (DepEd) and British Embassy Manila completed the feasibility study for the proposed Senate-DepEd (SEED) Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Project, a 13-hectare transit-oriented complex planned for Taguig City.

The project aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s order for the DOTr to embed TOD principles in major transport infrastructure projects.

In a statement on Wednesday, Acting DOTr Secretary Giovanni Lopez said the 13-hectare complex will demonstrate how education, residential and commercial spaces can coexist around transit modes.
