Manila, April 10 -- The Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tingog Partylist officially launched the Outstanding Eastern Visayans Awards (OEVA) on Friday, highlighting stories of leadership, service, and impact in the region.

The initiative, launched at the Tropic Hotel in Palo, Leyte, is anchored on the theme "Voices of Excellence," seeking to go beyond one-time recognition.

During the media launch, DOT Eastern Visayas Regional Director Karina Rosa Tiopes underscored the importance of sustaining narratives of excellence.
