CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, July 21 -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 10 (Northern Mindanao) facilitated the settlement of PHP1.9 million in back wages for workers in Bukidnon province on Tuesday.

In a statement, DOLE-10 said the 30 workers and their employer settled the final pay disputes through DOLE's Single-Entry Approach (SEnA) Program.

The workers coursed their complaints to DOLE-Bukidnon, and a series of dialogues and negotiations were conducted before reaching a final settlement.

Under SEnA, workers and employers prevent a labor dispute from escalating to legal arbitration by using it as an impartial and accessible means of resolution.
