Manila, June 19 -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) received the highest Commission on Audit (COA) audit opinion for fiscal year 2025, as it leads by example the continuing pursuit of real justice for all.

In a news release on Friday, the DOJ said it received an "unmodified opinion," which is the most favorable type of audit opinion that the COA can issue.

The COA report showed that the DOJ's financial statements as of Dec. 31, 2025, were presented fairly and that the department's transactions are properly authorized and recorded, with assets safeguarded against unauthorized use or disposition, in accordance with the International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
