MALASIQUI, July 16 -- The Department of Health (DOH) 1 (Ilocos Region) is targeting to vaccinate 95 percent of the region's 444,512 children against measles and rubella from Aug. 10 to 28 this year.

DOH-1 Regional Director Helen Tobias, in a press conference on Thursday, said they are all set for the immunization drive.

"Our vaccines are already in place; our health workers are prepared, and our partner agencies and volunteers are fully mobilized. Every part of the Ilocos Region is ready to deliver this campaign safely and efficiently," she said.

She urged every parent and guardian to bring their eligible children for vaccination.
