Disaster response, education, peace agenda, innovation mark PBBM week
Manila, Sept. 5 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. continued to pursue immediate solutions to the country's pressing challenges this week, putting disaster response at the forefront of his engagements, while also advancing peace, education, and innovation agendas.
Marcos began the week with a meeting with Cabinet officials and other government agencies at Malacanan Palace in Manila on Monday to assess the flooding situation in Central Luzon and the health response in Metro Manila.
The meeting came as the government intensified efforts to address the impact of severe flooding on affected communities amid persistent rains.
