Diocese of Imus backs push for 'genuine' anti-political dynasty law
Manila, Aug. 5 -- The Diocese of Imus has joined the growing call for the passage of a "genuine" anti-political dynasty law, backing a nationwide people's initiative seeking to address what advocates describe as Congress' longstanding inaction on the issue.
In Circular Letter No. 28-2026 issued Wednesday, Imus Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista expressed support for the campaign led by the multisectoral Dapat Isa Lang (D1L) Movement.
"The mission is to advance a genuine anti-political dynasty law through People's Initiative (PI) as a response to Congress' long inaction to this national issue," Evangelista said.
