Manila, Sept. 28 -- The provincial government of Dinagat Islands, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), will hold a job fair Tuesday, offering about 2,900 local and overseas employment opportunities.

The job fair is among the highlights of the continuing commemoration of the 20th Charter Day of the island province.

"This job fair reflects our commitment to bringing employment opportunities closer to the people of Dinagat Islands. With around 2,900 local and overseas jobs available, we hope to connect our jobseekers with opportunities that can provide them with stable livelihoods and a better future for their families," Governor Nilo Demerey Jr. told the Philippine News Agency in a text message on Monday.
