Manila, Aug. 18 -- A student who perpetrated the shooting at the Ateneo De Zamboanga University Grade School in Santa Maria, Zamboanga City on Tuesday livestreamed the act on social media and committed suicide, while another student also died during the incident, Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed.

In a phone interview with reporters, Remulla said that one of the casualties was the Grade 9 student gunman himself or a child in conflict with the law (CICL), who committed suicide, and the other one was a Grade 10 student.
