LEGAZPI CITY, July 30 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in Bicol is strengthening its digital inclusion and connectivity efforts across the region, with more than 1.2 million active users now using the eGovPH app and additional programs in the pipeline to improve access to government services.

In an interview on Thursday, Cyryl Montales, head of the DICT Bicol information strategic communication and creatives unit, said the agency continues to work with local officials and legislators to expand digital infrastructure, promote digital governance, and enhance digital literacy in support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s national digitalization agenda.
