SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, July 21 -- Residents of Antique can now enjoy connectivity with the launch of the "Free Wi-Fi For All" project of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in this province on Tuesday.

DICT Assistant Secretary Christian Mark Guingcangco said that 269 locations with 798 Wi-Fi access points have been distributed across the 18 municipalities of the province.

"It is through the provision of free, reliable Wi-Fi in every community in the municipalities in Antique that the people have better access in terms of education, livelihood and government services," Guingcangco said in his message during the official launch hosted by the University of Antique main campus in Sibalom town.
