Manila, May 20 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Wednesday began its probe into the temporary outage of the websites of the Philippine Communications Office (PCO) and Official Gazette.

In a statement, the DICT said continuous monitoring of the websites indicated that both have already been fully restored and are available to the public.

"Users may, however, experience slightly lower page loading times than usual as system optimization continues," it said.

While the websites are already back online, the DICT, through its National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT), is conducting a thorough investigation and preparing necessary audit logs.
