DHSUD sustains zero permit applications backlog to expedite housing
Manila, July 7 -- The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) on Tuesday said it has maintained zero overdue regulatory applications at its regional offices and central office for three consecutive weeks.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said the agency has accelerated the processing of key regulatory documents, including Certificates of Registration and Licenses to Sell, which private real estate developers need before legally constructing and selling subdivision and condominium projects.
The agency's Zero Backlog Program aims to eliminate bureaucratic delays and improve public service delivery by addressing pending applications at the regional level.
