DepEd-W. Visayas cites education gains, reforms highlighted in SONA
ILOILO CITY, July 28 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s 5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) reaffirmed the government's commitment to education reforms, particularly in preparing learners for employment and lifelong learning, the regional education office said Tuesday.
Department of Education (DepEd) 6 (Western Visayas) Director Cristito Eco said the President's focus on continuous learning, upskilling, reskilling, and workforce readiness aligns with the region's efforts to strengthen education-to-employment pathways.
