DepEd readies learning continuity plan amid class disruptions
Manila, Sept. 17 -- The Department of Education in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DepEd-CAR) is strengthening its learning continuity measures to ensure students can keep up with lessons when face-to-face classes are suspended because of calamities.
DepEd-CAR Regional Director Nicolas Capulong said Wednesday that the region is developing policy guidelines to make the shift to alternative learning modalities more effective during disasters.
"We are always hit by calamity, that is why we are coming up with policy guidelines that will make the implementation of the alternative learning modality modes smooth and effective," Capulong said during the "Kapihan" at the DepEd-CAR regional office.
