Manila, Sept. 24 -- The Department of Education (DepEd) has adopted Baguio City's circular economy resource book as supplementary instructional material for public and private schools, strengthening efforts to integrate waste management and environmental protection into classroom lessons.

"Public and private schools in the city are now using the Pansa-Nopen Tayo: A Circular Economy Resource Book as a supplementary instructional material starting School Year 2026-2027," said Dr. Soraya Faculo, superintendent of the DepEd-Baguio Schools Division Office (SDO), Thursday.

The adoption was formalized through SDO Memorandum No. 425-2026 issued in June, Faculo said.
