Manila, July 7 -- The Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday partnered with the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects to advance transparency and accountability.

This is in line with the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to expedite deliveries of school infrastructure for learners nationwide.

The two parties signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU), wherein the BCBP will act as an independent third-party observer for the DepEd's Public-Private Partnership for Schools Infrastructure Project (PSIP).
