Manila, Aug. 12 -- Albert Ian Delos Santos displayed his brilliant form at the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships, winning three gold medals for Team Philippines in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Wednesday.

The Zamboanga City pride lifted 141kg (snatch) and 180kg (clean and jerk), for a total of 321kg in the Junior men's 70kg division, on his 20th birthday.

Delos Santos, son of former national athletes Alvin and Diwa, also set new Junior Asian and World records in the clean and jerk, and in total.

Zamboanga City Mayor Khymer Olaso congratulated Delos Santos for his stunning performance.
