Manila, Aug. 14 -- State-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) is offering up to PHP250,000 in cash prizes to encourage individuals and institutions to increase their monthly average balance.

The DBP on Friday said the aggressive deposit generation campaign "Save 2 Win" is aimed at growing its funding base to support its various lending activities.

"We believe every deposit entrusted to DBP will help strengthen its capacity to finance transformative projects that will support economic growth, create jobs, and improve the lives of communities across the country," DBP President and Chief Executive Officer Michael de Jesus said.
