Manila, Aug. 28 -- The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) have signed a joint memorandum circular (JMC) to facilitate the release of PHP700 million in financial assistance for local government projects under the 2025 Support and Assistance Fund to Participatory Budgeting (SAFPB) Program.

The fund will benefit more than 40 local government units (LGUs) nationwide, DBM said in a Facebook post on Wednesday following the signing of the JMC.
