DAVAO CITY, May 29 -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Davao Region (DSWD-11) will begin the regional payout of Cash Relief Assistance (CRA) for qualified transportation network vehicle service (TNVS) and service delivery drivers from June 1 to 6, the agency announced Friday.

Each beneficiary will receive PHP5,000 in cash aid to help cope with rising fuel prices. The relief is part of the agency's Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program, designed to support public utility drivers in meeting basic needs amid rising operational costs.

"To qualify for the grant, drivers are required to hold a valid permit and a professional driver's license," DSWD-11 reminded.
