Manila, Sept. 16 -- The Department of Agriculture in Davao Region (DA-11), through its Kabuhayan at Kaunlaran ng Kababayang Katutubo (4K) Program, turned over a hauling truck to the Ata-Paraiso Tularo Association (APATA) of Paquibato District on Tuesday.

DA-11 Regional Director Macario Gonzaga said the partnership between APATA and See's International Food Manufacturing Corp. began in 2025 through agri-entrepreneurship training and market-linkage activities that connected Indigenous Peoples Organizations (IPO) with private sector buyers.

Recognizing the market potential of Cardava bananas produced by the Ata, the DA-4K Program facilitated discussions that led to a sustainable market partnership with See's International.
