Manila, June 22 -- The Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC) on Monday said it is collaborating with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to draft regulatory guidelines for child vloggers and social media influencers to protect minors from digital exploitation and labor abuse.

Executive Director Undersecretary Angelo Tapales has raised concerns that while traditional child stars and models are strictly covered by DOLE's Working Child Permit (WCP), online content creation remains a major legal "gray area."
