Manila, June 15 -- The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) has partnered with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a joint crackdown against online criminal activities and to strengthen the country's cyber defense system.

In a statement on Monday, CICC Undersecretary Renato "Aboy" Paraiso said the CICC and NBI have made a strategic commitment to work together in developing policies, leading cybercrime investigations, conducting and sharing research, and pooling resources to uplift the country's cybersecurity framework.

"We have to outsmart these threat actors by being more proactive and aggressive in our efforts to keep our digital space safe and healthy for all Filipinos," Paraiso said.
