Manila, Sept. 14 -- Arellano University defeated San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 98-72, Monday in the NCAA Season 102 men's basketball at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

T-Mc Jeadan Ongotan finished with 23 points, six assists and three steals as the Chiefs dominated the game, posting their biggest lead at 84-55.

"We prepared physically and mentally. They might not see what we're doing, but aside from that, the players have committed themselves to this [season]," coach Chico Manabat said after the game.

"They played until the end. We saw that so-called killer instinct," he added.

Sebastian Valencia and Renzo Abiera chipped in 12 points each for Arellano, which took a commanding 61-36 lead at halftime.
