BUTUAN CITY, Oct. 27 -- More than 6,400 police officers, other uniformed personnel and force multipliers will be deployed across the Caraga Region to secure cemeteries, transport hubs, tourist destinations and other strategic areas during the observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day.

Police Regional Office-Caraga Region (PRO-13) Director Brig. Gen. Rolindo Suguilon said the 6,486-strong deployment will be in place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.

The security contingent consists of 4,941 Philippine National Police personnel, 694 members of other uniformed services and 851 force multipliers, including members of Barangay Peacekeeping Action Teams, local government task forces and traffic enforcers.
