Manila, June 16 -- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has assured the family of slain overseas Filipino worker (OFW) Rona Jean Gervoso of continued assistance following the mistaken repatriation of another worker's remains in her place.

Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac also assured that the government will pursue justice for the slain OFW in Lebanon.

Cacdac visited Gervoso's family in Sibalom, Antique Monday conveying the condolences of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., and apologized to the family over the incident, which added to their grief after Gervoso was killed.
