Manila, March 17 -- The Commission on Appointments (CA) has confirmed on Tuesday the ad interim appointments and nominations of 57 generals, flag officers, and senior officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Committee on Appointments Committee on National Defense chairperson Rep. Joboy Aquino II said the officers demonstrated competence, integrity, and leadership needed to guide the military amid evolving security challenges.
