Manila, April 27 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has adopted a three-year validity period for exporter registration under its Client Profile Registration System (CPRS).

In a memorandum signed on April 24, Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said exporter registration will be valid for three years from the date of approval, unless earlier deactivated, suspended, or canceled in accordance with existing laws, rules, and regulations.

Nepomuceno said the move aims to strengthen the reliability of exporter information in the CPRS while supporting more responsive and efficient export processing.
