Manila, March 2 -- The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has exceeded its February 2026 collection target by over PHP1.2 billion, marking its second consecutive month of above-target performance.

Preliminary data on Monday showed that the it collected PHP73.798 billion last month, surpassing its PHP72.592 billion target by approximately PHP1.206 billion, or about 1.7 percent.

The figure represents an improvement compared to its February 2025 collection of PHP71.765 billion, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 2.8 percent, or PHP2.033 billion.

From January to February 2026, the BOC recorded total collections of PHP154.747 billion, representing a 2.5 percent increase, or PHP3.729 billion, compared to the same period last year.
