Manila, April 22 -- The Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) reported the arrest of 33 individuals and the confiscation of PHP2.2 million worth of illegal drugs in a weeklong operation conducted from April 13 to 19.

During the period, a total of 27 operations were carried out across various areas, resulting in the seizure of 322.30 grams of shabu and 211.33 grams of marijuana.

The series of operations included the service of seven warrants of arrest, 19 buy-bust operations, and one other police operation.

Among those apprehended were two high-value targets and 29 street-level individuals, reflecting a sustained focus on dismantling both major drug personalities and grassroots distribution networks.
