Belgian deputy PM in PH for talks on trade, other areas of cooperation
Manila, June 30 -- Belgium's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Maxime Prevot is in the Philippines for an official visit from June 30 to July 1, to discuss the two nations' relations and "new cooperation" on various areas, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday.
Prevot is scheduled to meet Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro during the day to discuss the progress of partnerships under the Joint Plan of Action.
The DFA, in a bulletin, said the two ministers will "propose new cooperation in trade and investment, creative industries, science and technology, maritime, labor mobility, information and communications technology, and people to people exchanges."
