Manila, Sept. 10 -- The Army's 1102nd Infantry Brigade (1102nd IBde) has provided solar power systems to improve living and working conditions at the seven patrol bases of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) in remote areas of Sulu province.

The solar power systems were distributed when Brig. Gen. Alaric Avelino Delos Santos, commander of the 1102nd IBde, visited the remote CAFGU patrol bases on Wednesday afternoon to assess the troops' welfare.

"The solar power setups were provided to the Bolaghaw, Lubok, Niangkaan, Lambago, Datag, Kulay-Kulay and Pitogo patrol bases within the brigade's area of responsibility," Delos said in a statement Thursday.
