SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, July 9 -- Work in provincial, municipal and national government offices, as well as classes at all levels in Antique, are suspended on Friday in preparation for the impact of the typhoon -enhanced "habagat" or southwest monsoon.

The suspension was mandated under Executive Order No. 212 issued by the provincial government on Thursday, following the recommendation of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (PDRRM) Council during their pre-disaster risk assessment in preparation for Super Typhoon Inday.
