Manila, Aug. 20 -- The municipal government of Bugallon, Pangasinan has declared a state of calamity amid the effects of weather disturbances in the past few weeks.

The declaration was made through Sangguniang Bayan (Municipal Council) Resolution 123, series of 2026, which was approved on Wednesday.

"This declaration will enable the municipal government of Bugallon to mobilize resources, expedite relief and response operations, and provide necessary assistance to affected residents as the municipality continues to respond to the ongoing situation," the resolution stated.
