Manila, March 17 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) on Tuesday announced that a better-maintained Andaya Highway segment of the Maharlika Highway in Camarines Sur is set to be opened Monday next week.
DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon said the initial road repairs along the Andaya Highway in Sipocot have been completed, ensuring a faster and smoother travel experience for travelers, especially during the Holy Week.
"Remember, it's not just Bicol residents who are passing through here, everyone going to the Visayas, going to Mindanao," he said in a statement. "So at least we kept our Holy Week timeline to finish the repairs."
