LEGAZPI CITY, June 19 -- The provincial government of Albay is set to establish a PHP15-million Kadiwa ng Pangulo center in Camalig town to provide farmers and local producers with a permanent venue to market their products and improve access to consumers.

In an interview Friday, Governor Noel Rosal said the project, which will initially receive PHP8 million in funding from the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., is modeled after trading posts in China and Northern Luzon and aims to address the lack of post-harvest and marketing facilities for farmers.
