Manila, July 9 -- The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Thursday announced that it signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Makati Medical Center (MakatiMed) to modernize military healthcare and accelerate its digital transformation.

In a statement, AFP public affairs office chief Col. Xerxes Trinidad said the MOA was signed on Wednesday in Makati City.

"The signing ceremony was led by AFP chief of staff Gen. Romeo Brawner Jr., Makati Medical Center Foundation chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, and Makati Medical Center Foundation president Dr. Victor Gisbert," he said.
