Manila, Sept. 11 -- House prosecution panel spokesperson Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong of Lanao del Sur on Friday questioned Vice President Sara Duterte's personal stake in calling for President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to resign, saying she would be the one to benefit from it.

In a press briefing, Alonto Adiong said there is a clear conflict of interest in the Vice President's call, stressing that the public should consider the identity and position of the person making the call, as well as the message itself.

"Una, importante po, hindi lang ang message kundi sino ang nagsasabi ng message na ito (First, and most importantly, it is not just the message itself that matters, but who is delivering it)," Alonto Adiong said.
