Manila, Sept. 24 -- The decision of some minority senator-judges not to participate in the threshold vote should not be treated as evidence of how they will decide Vice President Sara Z. Duterte's impeachment case, House prosecution panel spokesperson Lanao del Sur Rep. Zia Alonto Adiong said on Thursday.

"I think it will be premature to predict what will happen once the impeachment trial reaches its final conclusion by simply judging the way the decision of the court prompted some of the members to not participate in the voting on the application of the two-thirds threshold," Alonto Adiong said in a press briefing.
