ILOILO CITY, July 30 -- Cabinet Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. said Wednesday he will focus on strengthening the implementation of government programs by ensuring concerns raised by local governments, the private sector and the public are promptly addressed.

In an interview, Abalos said his role allows him to stay on the ground, listen to stakeholders and coordinate with government agencies to translate concerns into concrete action.

Among his priorities is expanding public awareness and use of the eGovPH App, the government's digital platform that provides easier access to public services, including health care.
